I remember my first visit to Ideal, the team was open and welcoming. I felt at ease straight away and I knew I was making the right decision coming to you.
It took some time to start the process and I was nervous about how well this would work and about parting with my money; however, I was ready to find the right one and knew that all approaches I had taken to date had not worked.
I had the date of my first contact and was ready to make the call. I followed the prescribed instructions, and with a plan in mind, I organised the first date. Kym said yes and sounded just wonderful.
Our first date was on the 25th September 2021 at White House of Waterford. A great recommendation from the team and one I have recommended to many after our first date.
I nervously awaited Kym’s arrival. She kept me informed of her arrival time and also let me know that she had arrived. This gave me confidence that Kym was someone that was organised and professional. Kym was right on time. We met in the gardens and I could see from a distance that I would not be disappointed. Kym looked magnificent in her flowing dress and with her beautiful brown hair. I was definitely looking forward to getting to know her over dinner.
The afternoon went very well. We shared open conversations and I felt comfortable straight away. We even shared an entree and main together – such a great way to start our date. After dinner we headed to Tygum Park to walk around the lagoon. Such an ideal location (if there was a little more lighting). I was worried Kym would feel uneasy in regards to the dark surroundings, but she put faith in me and we spent a lovely evening discussing life and really getting to know each other on our walk.
I think the beauty of Ideal Introductions is that you really find what you are after and peel back all the crap that can be associated with dating. I went into this date knowing that Kym had similar goals in a relationship as me and that we had been chosen to meet based on our own conversations with Ideal. This allowed us to have really deep and meaningful conversations, ask the tough questions early and open up to each other about our ambitions and visions of our futures. I must admit, we didn’t follow the script 100% and we both discussed the idea of future dates that night. I think we were both taken with each other and both hoped we would meet again.
Well not only did we meet again, but one year, one month, one week, one day and one hour after our first date, I asked Kym to marry me.
We are both very happy and looking forward to spending the rest of our lives together. We both have Ideal to thank for this and really appreciated the time taken to get this right. We are a testament that this process works.
I would never have believed that the first date organised would be the start of a real relationship with someone so perfect.
